This policy explains how personal data related to registration, participation, communications, attendance, video library access and certificates for the Bayer Seminar is collected, used and protected.
We may collect first name, last name, email, country, profession, specialty, preferred language, encrypted password, communication preferences, consent records, registration for the current edition, attendance records, certificate data, video library interactions, technical access logs, IP, browser, security events and communication opt-out status.
We use the information to manage registration and portal access, confirm enrollment, send operational seminar communications, display schedule and content by language, record attendance, issue certificates, enable video library access, provide support, maintain security, audit relevant changes and respect unsubscribe preferences.
Users may receive seminar-related communications, related updates or operational notices required for the portal. Communication preferences may be changed from the profile or through unsubscribe links.
To issue certificates and validate participation, the system may retain attendance records, issue dates, modules, language, printed name, certificate code and validity status. Video access may require an active session.
Data is retained for as long as needed to manage the seminar, maintain portal access, prove attendance, preserve certificates, meet legal obligations, resolve inquiries, keep consent evidence and maintain system security.
Information may be processed by authorized project teams and technology providers required to operate the service, such as hosting, email, streaming, video library, security or support providers. We do not sell personal data.
